Just when the list of vehicles set to make their debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show isn’t mouth-watering enough, Maserati is joining the party with the introduction of the GranCabrio.
It took a while for Maserati to finish tweaking the car – a couple of years, in fact – but the wait should be worth it. The car is expected to roll out of the production and into dealerships sometime in March of 2010. In the meantime, fans of the Italian marquee should all look forward to Frankfurt to catch the first glimpse of the GranCabrio in person.
The GranCabrio is expected to come with a more powerful engine than its predecessor, the GranTurismo S, thanks in large part to the 4.7-liter V8 engine housed under its hood, capable of producing speeds of as much as 433bhp at 7000rpm and 362lb ft at 4750rpm.
Maserati Quattroporte
The Maserati Quattroporte is the only luxury sedan that sets the pulse racing with its sports car-like performance. Beautiful to look at and thrilling to drive, it is a car that excels in terms of technology and craftsmanship. The 4.2 liter V8 engine delivers pitch perfect performance that blends luxury with a thrilling driving experience. The engine produces 405 HP and powers the Maserati Quattroporte to a top speed of 168 mph and 0-60 mph acceleration in 5.5 seconds. The navigation and entertainment system on the Maserati Quattroporte has been completely revised, and now features the new Multimedia System by Bose®

The Maserati Quattroporte S features a new Ferrari-designed and -built 4.7 liter V8 engine to further exploit the exceptional handling and balance of this sensational sedan. Its responsive 4.7 liter engine was developed to ensure fluid gear changes and high performance, resulting in a drive that is both comfortable and captivating. Producing 425-horsepower, the V8 engine pushes the Quattroporte S to a top speed of 174 mph and 0-60 mph acceleration time of just 5.3 seconds.

The Quattroporte Sport GT S is the sportier version of the Maserati Quattroporte range. Equipped with the MC-Auto Shift software package for racing-style control of gear changes, it is fitted with the most powerful engine in the Quattroporte line. The Quattroporte Sport GT S is Capable of 433 HP at 7,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 361 lt-fb at 4,750 rpha m, it raises the car's performance to unprecedented levels.

Maserati GranTurismo
The Maserati GranTurismo is the latest in Maserati long line of coupes which have refined the Grand Touring concept since 1946. With the Ferrari-designed 405bhp 4.2 liter V8 engine and optimal balance, the aggressively sophisticated GranTurismo reaches a top speed of 177 mph and a 0 to 60mph acceleration of just 5.1 seconds. The Maserati GranTurismo engine is coupled to a highly-efficient automatic transmission that sets new standards for performance cars. This transmission is capable and strong enough to change gears up to 7,200rpm.

The Maserati GranTurismo S boasts a more powerful 4.7 liter, V8 engine that can generate 433-horsepower at 7,000 rpm, producing a maximum torque of 361 lb ft of torque Nm at 4,750 rpm. The Maserati GranTurismo S is equipped with a sequential robotic gearbox that can be used in two ways: manual and automatic. Manual mode is for those who prefer a sportier driving; the automatic mode is designed for the times when the driver does not want to actively be involved in up shifting or downshifting. The interior features luxurious leather and woodwork aiding to the cars elegant presence.

Maserati GranTurismo Convertible
The Maserati GranTurismo Convertible is the first four-seat convertible in Maserati's 98 year history. The GranTurismo Convertible (called Grancabrio in the rest of the world) boasts a 433 hp V8 engine, a top speed of 176 mph and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.3 seconds. The six-speed ZF automatic transmission ensures super smooth gear shifts without limiting shifting performance at top engine speeds. Comfort and spaciousness are guaranteed to all four passengers in the GranTurismo Convertible and the trunk is the same volume size with the roof either up or down.

Maserati MC Sport Line
The MC Sport Line options are now available at Maserati Silicon Valley Parts Department. Developed with the help of Maserati Corse racing team's engineers, the MC Sport line is for customers who wish to express their passion for sports cars and want advanced technical solutions to enhance their driving pleasure. All the components are made of carbon fiber and customers can select options from the "MC Sport Line" to personalize both the exteriors and the interiors of the Maserati GranTurismo while also offering owners of the GranTurismo S Automatic the possibility of enhancing the handling of their car using a special suspension setup.
